Complete CAT 2 and OH2 fire sprinkler installation across four residential apartment blocks, comprising 102 units. The project included over 500m of heavy-duty sprinkler header pipework and a bespoke OH2 pump set designed specifically for undercroft car park protection.

An 80,000-litre sectional sprinkler tank was designed and installed, alongside a full controls package featuring monitoring systems, alarms, and automatic changeover functionality. CAT 2 potable water services were also delivered, including dual water tanks, booster pump sets, distribution pipework, and BMS-integrated controls.

All fire sprinkler systems were designed in line with BS 9251:2021 for residential applications. The undercroft car park areas were classified as OH2 in accordance with BS EN 12845, addressing higher-risk zones.

All installations complied with Building Regulations Approved Document B for fire safety, with water hygiene managed in accordance with HSE ACoP L8 and BS 8558 standards.

Strict confined space procedures were followed during tank installation. All hot works were carried out under controlled permit-to-work systems, while heavy pipework installation was managed using LOLER-compliant lifting plans and certified equipment to ensure safe handling throughout.
